Critical Event is a provider of High Quality Event Photography in Prince Edward County and the surrounding Quinte area of SE Ontario, Canada. The service is provided by stevendraperphotography, an Ontario registered photography business.

Our aim is to add value to your organizations event by providing participants the chance to enrich their overall experience with post event purchase opportunities of high quality photographic goods, and a supply of images for media and promotional uses.

How we work is very simple. 

1. You enquire regarding critical event attending your event, or maybe we contact you.
2. Ideally, prior to the day, we have a chat about your event so we can maximize the service that we can provide. There may also be opportunities for critical event to also promote your event via it’s blogsite and galleries.
3. On the day we use a suitable selection of photographic equipment to carry out the type and style of photography that suits your event. Operating discreetly when required, or injecting some photographic fun and interaction.
4. Types of Photo that we take vary from event to event, and any specific requirements you may have, especially media requirements. We like to produce a balanced portfolio of images that reflect the experience you provided. Ambience shots, smiles, prizes and as many individual magic moments as possible. However we also like to capture as many  ”unawares” –  non posed, honest, wonderful moments that people can now relive forever.
5. After the event all the images are sorted. Only those that meet our strict standards are uploaded to an online gallery that is dedicated to your event. This normally takes place within 48 hours of the end of the event, the gallery may be password protected if you require. 
6. From the online galleries it is possible to purchase prints and other items. Generally the prints are 5×7 as this is by far the most popular size. They will fit into a commercial 10×8 frame, matted for a 5×7 print. They are printed by a commercial lab and customer service is Top Class should you have any questions or unlikely snags.
7. For media use, or on request it is possible to “upgrade” the image further. For a small additional fee we can give the image a makeover and then provide a link from which you can see the result and purchase if you like what we have done. 
8. For the ultimate treatment your image can be personally finished by stevendraperphotography to a wide range of styles, printed on a choice of the highest quality archival papers and if required matted and framed to provide a special picture that will be treasured for generations.
9. Media Use - Images are available for media and promotional use. Images for local newspapers are generally free of charge –  ”Critical Event” can also submit stories and articles to suitable media.
10. How much does this cost We hope that we provide a great service, meeting and beating expectations, providing people with the chance to purchase wonderful pictures, and eye-catching and memorable media images. That’s why there is generally no charge to have “critical event” attend your event, we’re confident that our images do the talking.
